The tv series, Sensing Murder, is
classed in the television industry as a "Reality format" program.
Sensing Murder is so proficient at being a
reality format program that it actually won the QANTAS TV Award for the division
in 2006.
The best way of putting this into
perspective is to read what the QANTAS criteria are for this type of program, so
we will quote directly from the
QANTAS TV Awards site:
-
Best Reality (format) Programme
- Includes non-fiction, essentially scripted programmes in which the
premise, circumstances or situations are constructed or manipulated
for the purpose of realising the format (with or without a
competition structure).
Note the point that these programs are
manipulated to realise the format. In other words, they are not fiction, but
they certainly aren't factual.
We will show why the "psychics" aren't
responsible for any of the alleged results (and all there is to date is alleged
results - the NZ Police have received NO positive information from the
psychics.) and that the program's producers and investigators are cynically
exploiting the families of the victims for ratings and profit.
If you believe, even for a second, that
these charlatans claiming to be psychics have any basis in reality, ask
yourself these questions:
Why has no psychic ever solved a
murder?
Why do psychics charge $3-99 for a phone
consultation when they could be earning millions, right now!... if they
were real psychics.
Why has no psychic ever been able
to display psychic powers under independent investigation.
