Athletes often have peculiar beliefs, but Roe's belief that "thermographic imaging" is a genuine alternative to mammography is a dangerous one.
Words fail me to describe my revulsion that this purveyor and supporter of medical scams has been elected to a health board.

That means that 82% of women who have breast cancer but choose screening by clinical thermography will receive a false negative.
Yet Roe bleats about "women's rights" and their "god-given right" to do as they wish with their breasts.
Sure they do, Alison, but it will be a human doctor that cuts their breasts from their bodies due to a false negative from your employer.
And you've been voted into a position of responsibility in health. Thank god my daughter, wife and sisters do not live anywhere near Waitakere.
