What Would Jesus Do?
The Empire Knights, whose website states: The Empire Knights welcomes you to explore our web site and learn about whom we are, and what we are all about in these latter day times throughout the world. We are not a religion, but we are a Christian Fraternal organization that welcomes all law abiding Christian’s to join us. If you are a non violent law abiding Christian who wants to help make a difference in our society, then we invite you to investigate us further and join our brotherhood. The Empire Knights may be better known to you as the Ku Klux Klan. Jesus hates blacks (and Jews!).
Then there are these loving sons and daughters of Jesus: The site that you are about to enter contains Gospel truth on an important, hot-button issue. This Gospel truth includes, but is not limited to:
Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989. "The Lord also tells me to tell you in the mid 90's, about '94-'95, no later than that, God will destroy the homosexual community of America. [audience applauds] But He will not destroy it - with what many minds have thought Him to be, He will destroy it with fire. And many will turn and be saved, and many will rebel and be destroyed." - Benny Hinn.
Onward Christian Soldiers! If you ever needed to be reminded of the damage that christianity can do to young children, come and have a look at Jesus Camp the Movie.
And what band of outstanding christians would be complete without a look-in from New Zealand's own Saint, Brian Tamaki: An elderly couple who lent Brian Tamaki the money that helped him start his Destiny Church empire say the funds were "hijacked" and they had given up hope of ever retrieving the full amount. Barry and Marian Wilson lent everything they had - $450,000 - to Tamaki's Lake City Church in Rotorua, from which his multimillion-dollar Destiny empire grew. The money was to be used to construct a new church but the couple allege the funds were diverted into a project they had not approved and that almost 10 years after the funds were advanced, they are still owed $150,000.
Not many of the
passengers on the Queen Mary II, the Cunard Line's most luxurious cruise
ship, are impoverished Maori and Pacific Islanders - the kind of people who
dominate the congregations of Destiny Church.
But one or two New Zealanders were aboard. They knew who the Tamakis were, and they were not impressed - for there is something strange about seeing two self-proclaimed missionaries of Jesus Christ on a ship which boasts the only planetarium afloat, 14 decks of sports facilities including a basketball court and virtual golf, 10 restaurants, five pools, shops, bars, and lounges.
