Graham Falla

After a career in school teaching that took him from Wellington to London, Taranaki, and Manurewa, Graham retired to pursue his lifelong interests in nature conservation and music, strongly supported by his wife, Rogan.

As Graham would be the first to tell you, he is but one face among many - the people who give their time and energies to preserving and enhancing our natural heritage with the Royal Forest & Bird Protection Society of New Zealand.

Whether it's fighting to preserve natural habitats of our non-voting Kiwi species, or planting trees for future generations to enjoy, Graham and his friends at the RFBPSNZ are bloody heroes.

You'll read frequently in the papers about taggers and those who seek to destroy our society - we're proud to acknowledge Graham, Rogan and the team as heroes who are busy saving it.
