BRING IT ON!!!

Just to set this out in simple terms so that even the simplest simpleton can understand.

If Fuelstar, GasWiz, Ecotube, Sonic Spark Plugs, Run your car on water, or any other purported fuel-saving device actually works, then it must be possible to test it to see how well it works. That is pretty plain - if it works, then it works!

To test a product properly, it is necessary to test it under controlled conditions. As we explain in our fuel saving tips page, driving styles, tuning, even your tyre pressure can have a huge effect on consumption. These variables can be removed by ensuring the engine is tested with and without the device under identical conditions. Again, this is simple stuff, and the results can then be measured to see just how much difference there is in consumption of fuel.

To ensure that this is all done in a completely impartial manner, and by an organisation which is relied upon internationally to test products and vouch for the results, the clear choice is Auckland Uniservices - a division of University of Auckland's respected engineering school.

I have challenged each and every one of these fuel-savers to have their product independently evaluated by Auckland Uniservices at my cost. Yes, I will personally pay to have someone else's device tested. What could there possibly be which would stop the inventors and owners of these devices having them tested under controlled conditions?

Could it be that my testing condition of agreeing to stand by and advertise the test results on their websites is a problem?

I'm very confident that is precisely what the problem is - that these people actually know that their device will fail an independent test. Because they just don't work.

In the meantime, because there is reticence to accept laboratory testing, I have offered to hire Pukekohe Racetrack for testing or have field tests done using a tractor loading set loads of sand to try to get someone to have their product tested, yet not one of these companies has taken up the challenge.

Before you part with your hard-earned cash, just ask yourself why any reputable company with a real product would turn down the chance of having a respected testing laboratory tell the world that it worked.
